PACC Member Benefits
The Philadelphia Area Collegiate Cooperative provides member institutions the opportunity to reduce purchasing costs through cooperative buying power and improved efficiency. PACC supports the adoption and utilization of preferred contract suppliers that offer member institutions a variety of products and services at negotiate rates resulting from formal competitive bidding processes.
Benefits include:
- Cost savings resulting from negotiated/bid contracts that offer bottom-line savings to the departments within member institutions.
- Cooperative buying power resulting in suppliers paying special attention to the combined buying power of member institutions.
- Monthly member meetings to review and identify potential cooperative buying initiatives. Members also use this time to share best practices in purchasing and related business processes.
- Time equity as member institutions contribute resources for formal competitive bidding initiatives including development of combined business requirements supplier management, bid preparation and distribution, and qualitative and quantitative analysis.
