
Registration is now open for the Penn Local Business Exchange!
The event on Wednesday, October 8, will be held on Penn’s campus at the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, 3680 Walnut Street. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. for coffee and networking with other attendees and leaders of several chambers of commerce and other area organizations supporting local businesses.
The Forum, an opportunity for businesses to share ideas and unique perspectives about Philadelphia’s business community, begins at 11:00 a.m. The Forum will feature opening remarks by leadership from Penn and the City of Philadelphia. This will be followed by engaging conversation on the topics of construction and workforce development, and strategies for local and small business success. The Forum will also include a presentation of the 2025 Penn Local Economic Impact Award.
Registration for the Forum and Expo is required. Seating will be first-come, first-served in the theater, with overflow seating to watch the big screen in the lobby. We encourage you to arrive at 10:30 to check in, enjoy refreshments, and find a seat in the theater.
The Forum will be followed by the Expo, opening at 12:30 p.m. The Expo will showcase dozens of local suppliers in categories ranging from office supplies, furniture, technology, professional services, the ever-popular catering services, as well as suppliers from construction and the trades, along with partner companies.
The Penn Local Business Exchange is hosted by the University of Pennsylvania under the auspices of the Office of the Executive Vice President, Office of Government and Community Relations, Division of Finance, and Facilities & Real Estate Services.
