Update on Supply Chain Constraints
As has been well-covered in the news, the world is experiencing broad supply chain constraints along with significant inflationary pressure. Some of the most dramatically impacted areas for Penn include technology, equipment, furniture, paper, and industrial supplies. Markets are also generally impacted by the higher cost of freight and transportation. Penn maintains a number of strategic supplier relationships, and we are working together to minimize the impact on the goods and services that we buy.
The Penn buying community should make full use of Penn’s preferred contract suppliers as noted in the Penn Marketplace and within Procurement Services' search tools. Doing so will help ensure that competetive contract pricing terms prevail and that negotiated service structures support your purchase.
